Overlays are great for fast-tracking the resurfacing of concrete. Overtime, some concrete surfaces can face wearing issues. Overlay products are high-performing and self-leveling toppings that help resurface and protect your concrete areas. Concrete overlays are extremely important in high-traffic areas or areas that will see a great amount of wear.
There are a great number of overlay products available. In-store, we can show you our different products and how each benefits all types of concrete. From stampable to professional-grade overlays, we have it all!
Packaged in 55-pound (25 kg) bags. Each bag, once properly mixed with water, provides a coverage rate of approximately 96 SF at 1/16″ thick (2.2m² at 1.5 mm thick). A polymer modified, cementitious material designed for resurfacing and texturing stable, non-moving concrete floors and hardscapes. Single application thickness can range from 1/16″ (1.5mm) to a maximum of 3/16″ (4.5mm), depending on thickness desired. Use with T-1000™ Primer to provide enhanced adhesion and workability of the material. Wide range of Uni-Mix® Color Packs available. Multiple applications methods possible, smooth trowel, broom finish, splatter brush, or sprayed with a hopper gun. T-1000 Fine is compatible with Butterfield Color® stencils or stains. The coverage rates of one 55 lb. (25 kg) unit of T1000® Fine Gray are approximately:
T1000™ Stampable Overlay is a precise blend of graded sand, cement, and polymer, which allow for thin applications. It is a pre-packaged material that is mixed on the job site with clean water and can be stamped textured or roller textured. Application thickness ranges from 1/8 inch (3mm) to a maximum of 1/2 inch (13 mm).
A bonding agent which provides enhanced adhesion, workability and curing of cementitous overlays. Packaged in 1-gallon (3.8L) plastic bottles of concentrate, dilute 1 gallon of primer with 1 gallon of water. At diluted strength the coverage is approximately 200 square feet per gallon, but varies with surface conditions. A second application is recommended. Required bonding agent for use with T-1000™ Stampable Overlay, T1000™ Fine Overlay, and Cantera™ Vertical Overlay.
Cantera™ Vertical Wall Mix is a polymer modified, cementitious overlay formulated for resurfacing structurally sound, non-moving vertical surfaces including concrete, drywall, cement board, plywood and masonry. It is a lightweight and sag resistant material, which can be applied to interior or exterior surfaces. Cantera™ Vertical Wall Mix provides a workable consistency suitable for stamping with Butterfield Color® Vertical Stamping Tools or creatively carving or sculpting by hand. Once cured, Cantera™ Vertical Wall Mix creates a durable and natural looking stone finish that is weather and freeze/ thaw resistant. Cantera™ Vertical Wall Mix is a precise blend of graded aggregate, cement, and polymer, which allows for thin to moderately thick applications. It is a pre-packaged material that is mixed on the job site with clean, potable water. Application thickness ranges from 3/4 in. (19 mm) minimum, to a maximum of 2 in. (51 mm) in a single application.

Primer for Cementitious Overlays. BRICKFORM Triple Seven Bond Coat is an entirely new concept in primers for cementitious materials. It prevents the concrete from absorbing water from the overlay material making it easier to spread and achieve a smooth surface. Also, Triple Seven Bond Coat is a reactive primer, remaining active for at least two hours after it is applied. It reacts and forms a chemical link between the overlay and the substrate. Triple Seven Bond Coat increases the bond strength by creating a more efficient chemical link between the concrete and the overlay.
Micro-Topping, Smooth Grade BRICKFORM Micro-Topping is used on interior or exterior cured concrete to create a durable surface that can be colored or stained. It is mixed with BRICKFORM Liquid Polymer. The Smooth Grade is applied over SM Professional Grade for a smooth finish when desired. The mixed materials form a thin concrete coating that can be used to restore or repair any concrete surface. Brickform Microtopping, when placed over a base coat of SM Professional Grade that has been primed with Triple Seven Bond Coat, will yield approximately 400-600 square feet per bag depending on application technique. Higher or lower coverage rates should be determined during the mock up phase of the project. The Microtopping should never be applied directly to the concrete slab.
BRICKFORM Stampable Overlay (SC-60) is a white cement, premixed blend of special materials that, when mixed with water, forms a thin, stampable concrete coating. SC-60 Stampable overlay can be integrally colored using BRICKFORM Overlay Liquid Colorants and topically colored with a wide range of BRICKFORM coloring products. BRICKFORM Stampable Overlay is easy to install and forms a tough, durable topping that will withstand years of wear. When used on properly prepared surfaces, and when used with Triple Seven Bond Primer BRICKFORM Stampable Overlay will permanently bond to concrete surfaces.
SM Professional Grade™ Rough Grade Micro-Topping Sprayable Cementitious Overlay BRICKFORM SM Professional Grade is a sprayable cementitious overlay that is designed to be applied with a hopper gun. It can be integrally colored using BRICKFORM Overlay Liquid Colorant. BRICKFORM SM Professional Grade can be used to create the look of brick, stone, tile or other unique specialty finishes. Base coat – 150-300 square feet per bag depending on texture and porosity of the concrete. Texture coats can be troweled or sprayed on at a rate of 150-200 square feet per 60lb bag.
SpeedPatch is formulated without added gypsum for enhanced durability and extended resistance to severe weathering and underground environments.
FeatherPatch is a blend of graded quartz, silica sand, cements and proprietary additives. It is a single component, polymer modified mortar, requiring only water for mixing.
Level-Top is a polymer modified, cement based self-leveling floor underlayment designed for interior structural floors scheduled to receive carpet, resilient flooring, ceramic tile or other finished floor coverings.
Level-Top Primer is applied to surfaces scheduled to receive Level-Top™ underlayment or Level-Top™ Supreme overlayment.
